A Wide Spectrum of Chordsd
Piano Chords Compass provides the user with access to an incredible 2,500 chords. These can be experienced by first selecting the root followed by the chord type. Then, a compass will appear. Clicking on this icon will enable the user to explore the different variations within the chord itself. This graphical addition is a very intuitive means to appreciate the range of sounds that a piano can play. There are a total of 56 chord roots which can be accessed and this program supports inversions.
Listen and Learn
Not only will Piano Chords Compass display the notation of the associated chord (in both bass and treble clef), but it can work in conjunction with digital instruments associated with GarageBand. Retina graphics provide extremely clear representations and the fingering positions associated with a particular chord can be seen. This is particularly beneficial when playing more difficult tunes.
